Tom Fair (Bishops Staff 1968-2003) recently returned to The Mitre for a welcome visit. Tom had open heart surgery at the end of 2018, and missed getting hold of the 2nd edition (October 2018) of The Old Diocesan. He specifically came to The Mitre to collect his much sought after copy. Tom was the inaugural House Director of Birt House in 1984, and his last Head of House in 1995 was the inaugural editor of The Old Diocesan, Tim Richman (1995B).
ODs will be glad to know that Tom is still functioning in his role as Mr Fix It, and is currently painting two houses!
