Sports
Dear Bishops Old Boys’

This weekend the boys from our respective schools will meet in their time honoured clashes across multiple sports. This term the Wynberg Boys’ High School campus has the privilege of hosting these fixtures.  On the field the rivalry has always been hard fought, as you’d expect from two outstanding schools.  More important than that though, is the great respect that exists between the two unions, with many friendships having been built over the years on the sporting field and in the business world. We believe that it is important to maintain and build on this sense of friendship and camaraderie.

The Wynberg Old Boys’ Union would therefore like to extend an invite to all Bishops Old Boys’ to join us this Saturday, during the rugby, at the Bill Bowden Pavilion. We would be honoured to host you and to allow a time for you to reconnect and swap some old ‘war stories’ with friends from both unions. If you’re a recent school leaver, bring a few mates. If you’re a parent, bring your kids and make it a family event.  It is guaranteed to be a great day.

Date & Time:     Saturday, 18 May from 11:00
Venue:                Bill Bowden Pavilion, Wynberg Boys’ High School, Hawthornden (1st team field)
Refreshments and food will be on sale throughout the day.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Kind Regards,
Matthew Thomson
President: Wynberg Old Boys’ Union
