Peter Steyn (1955O), the world renowned ornithologist, was very kindly invited by Dr Paul Murray (Bishops Historian/ Archivist) to address the Lingua Franca Society on Tuesday 29 January 2019.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed Peter's presentation. They also had a very high regard for The Mitre, which they look forward to calling 'Home' in the very near future.
Our sincere appreciation to Dr Murray for encouraging the Society the opportunity to experience The Mitre, and for leaving the left over cupcakes and juice for the staff.
