THE ROBERT GRAY MEDAL
The Robert Gray Medal is the most prestigious and only award which the school can bestow on an OD who has made a significant and exceptional contribution in his field of endeavour, or to society in general.
The first such awards were made in 2018.

The 2018 award
Guy Pearson (Principal of Bishops: 2013 - June 2020) reports: "Last year (2018) we marked our Founders Day with a special ceremony in the Memorial Chapel. On this occasion we awarded the very first Robert Gray Medals to two distinguished ODs, Dr Robert Frater and Mr Raymond Ackerman."
