They have served Bishops well!
They have served Bishops well!
Kevin Kruger (Science Teacher, Teacher-In-Charge of Bee Keeping, TIC Canoeing) enjoyed his last day at Bishops at the end-of-term Eucharist on Friday 28 September 2018. Kevin has accepted the position of Head of Science at Oakhill School, Knysna, where Jannie de Villiers (past staff) is currently Head of School. The Bishops Principal, Guy Pearson, said the following of Kevin:
"Kevin has been an excellent all-round schoolmaster at Bishops and is highly respected by boys and staff alike. We thank Kevin for his contribution and wish him well in this exciting opportunity."
Standing in the picture above is Rev Bob Commin (Bishops Chaplain), who will be retiring at the end of 2018. Between them is Tony Noon (School Driver), who is also retiring at the end of this year.
These three men have served Bishops remarkable well over many, many years. In fact, Kevin and Bob have both left Bishops at stages, and came back again. We know many ODs will be eternally grateful for the influence these dedicated men have made in their lives. The OD Union extend our heartfelt thanks to Kevin, Bob, and Tony. May they experience love, enjoyment, and a great sense of satisfaction in their new ventures.
