|ODs Around the World|
This month the Old Diocesans Union celebrates its quasquicentennial, which as every Founders boy will tell you, is its 125th anniversary. That's a lot of years. And for the most part, 125 very good years.
The ODU started life as independent branches and for 125 years branches have been the Union. Now more than ever, with somewhere between 35%-40% of all ODs living outside South Africa, they are crucial to building the unique and special camaraderie which connects ODs, supports ODs, has fun as ODs and keeps Bishops, love or hate the place, close to them.
The 2020-2025 ODU strategy embodies this purpose and embraces the philosophy that where we've come from is integral to where we're headed.
In the meantime, happy quasquicentennial and floreat, ODU!
