The 31st running of the Avenue Mile took place on Founder's Day. Oliver Stewart won the race in a time of 4 minutes 33 seconds, and in doing so broke Aldred Boyd's record set in 1997. Aldred’s time in what was the 10th running of the Avenue Mle was 4 minutes 34 Seconds. Oli now has the bragging rights of being the fastest Miler in the 169 year history of Bishops - well done! Elyas Ayyoub finished second in 4 minutes 51 seconds - and in so doing joins an elite group of Bishops boys to break the 5 minute barrier for the mile. Julian Dower finished third in the race. The top Junior runner was Oli Kennedy-Smith.
