Dear Patrick
Today, 15 March, marks the foundation of Diocesan College. That makes Bishops 170 years old today!
As we reflect on a school that has witnessed so much of the world’s history, may you too be inspired, knowing that you are a part of that history.
Thank you to all of you for your support, encouragement and participation with the OD Union during this past term.
May you toast a glass to Bishops tonight.
As the quote at the bottom suggest, it was a small and humble beginning, but with a long-term view we too can reach our dreams.
In this newsletter you have the opportunity to enjoy exploring the 3rd edition of The Old Diocesan. One of the real values of the ODU is the Mentoring Programme run by Nicky Bicket (1973F). This week ODs have the opportunity to meet OD Mentor Nick Durrant (1991G).
OD Committee member Arthur Mngxekeza (1997F) really opens up in a powerful interview.
Congratulations to all those with achievements, and those who are doing good to civil society.
And thank you to all the visitors who livens up The Mitre with their visits!
Lastly our condolences to the Brink family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
My we remember to respect, value, and appreciate each other as ODs.
Have a super weekend!
Kind regards,
WP and Nicole
