Dear Nick We had not one, not two, but THREE reunions this week! |
We were thrilled to invite the Grade 5 learners into The Mitre this morning after we found them buzzing about outside, eager to look inside the museum. They are currently learning about the history of Rugby. |
On the topic of rugby, we wish the Villager 7s players all the best today as they defend their Villagers 7s title at the Villagers Rugby Club. Please note that there will be no Old Boys' 7s competition this year. Warm regards The OD Office |
OD Union Standing Committee The standing committee will have its first meeting on 3 September. Thereafter a plan to achieve a set of reconciliation, healing, unity and good governance actions and activities will be shared with members. We anticipate that a number of work streams will be identified to assess and recommend changes to the existing constitution. Each work stream will involve assessment, gathering information from experts or members together with feedback and discussion to gain a shared view. We will then deliver recommendations to the ODU Committee for updating the constitution. |
Call for Nominations for the 2020 Robert Gray Medal We would like to call for nominations for the second annual awarding of the Robert Gray Medal for 2020. The award is to honour ODs who have made a significant and exceptional contribution to their field of endeavour. Please submit your nominations with a brief motivation to the ODU: [email protected]
