17th January 2020 Dear Jeremy On Wednesday 15 January a Special General Meeting was held at the Mitre with for the purpose of passing the two resolutions[delete the comma] as per the notice of the meeting published on 15 December 2019. Both resolutions were adopted by the requisite majority, effectively amending the constitution. A second Special General Meeting will be convened on 12 February 2020, at the Mitre at 18:00, with drinks and snacks served afterwards. Given the constitutional amendments that were on Wednesday night, all of the Members of the Union will be entitled to exercise their voting rights at the SGM in February and at the AGM in March, not only those in personal attendance. We will be updating you on the manner in which you may cast your votes in due course. |

Please be mindful of the boarders and residents that reside on the property as well. We therefore ask you not to use these facilities before 7am or after 8pm. |
