The 38th Annual Walker Cup Golf Day |
The 38th annual Walker Cup golf day between the OD’s and “Bosch” old boys, is scheduled to take place on Sunday 15 March. The OD team and event organiser is John Smuts (1969S). Whilst he is making good progress with finalising the team, he is still short of players. Last year, the OD team was short, thereby forfeiting a few matches (and the trophy!) to Bosch! We don’t want that to happen again! Follow the link below for more details. |

Cassiem Brothers help SA to 4-0 series win against the USA |
Dayaan (2017W) and Mustapha Cassiem (Matric) both played in a 4 match test series against the USA for the SA men's hockey team. The series, which was held in Durban, saw Mustapha score on his debut for the national side in the opening game. While it is seen as a trial of sorts for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games, the series is still very much a test series. Alex Stewart (2013O) and Ryan Julius (2013K) will be joining Dayaan as the side takes on Germany in Johannesburg next week. This will again be a trial series for the Olympic games. Congratulations to all the ODs and good luck for 2020. |
