Tom David (2011B) and I are two South Africans who, last year, at 24 years-of-age took the first steps of a life-changing journey. Walk with Us is the honest, gripping account of climbing the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, and walking 6 000km through six countries on US$2 a day in aid of early childhood development. In a story of extreme pain and even greater kindness, overcoming challenges and lessons learned, we have a message to share. In the words of adventurer, Kingsley Holgate, “An amazing journey”.
We will be launching our book on Monday 12th November at The Mitre, Diocesan College, Bishops in Cape Town from 6PM onwards.
