Event description

Christo Brand is a former Robben Island prison warden who was assigned to guard Nelson Mandela's and became his close confidant and personal friend.

The story of this relationship is told in Christo's book, published in 2014, called Mandela: My Prisoner, My Friend.

Christo will speak to ODs, wives and partners at a breakfast to be held in the House of Lords on the 15th June.
