Several weeks ago the Principal Mr Pearson brought some of the earliest minutes ever taken down at Bishops which was done in beautiful calligraphy, to the Museum. These have now been stored in the school safe and were recently uncovered by the book keeper Cathy Howard when she was searching for some documents in the Finance Office.  We will feature some information about them in a forthcoming article.  So will there be an article on the safe’s provenance once we have been able to establish the details.   Author and OD Jeremy Lawrence was visiting the Museum at the time of the safe’s delivery and is seen in the photograph viewing the insignia in brass on the door.
