Welcome aboard. Country Representatives in Europe

A huge thank you to these ODs (pictured in the photo) who have so willingly agreed to take on this role.

The EU comprises 27 countries. We are building up a cohort of wonderful ODU Representatives in Europe.  We now have ODU Reps for ten of them. Technically, there is no limit to how many countries, regions, or cities in which Representatives can represent the ODU.  A a country can have more than one.

There is no expectation that these representatives will provide a calendar of functions, or mentoring services or function as a job placement agency. All that is required is that they are there and contactable. Contact may be frequent or very seldom (or not at all).

Of course, they are free to arrange whatever events they choose to, but they are not obliged to.  A representative provides an opportunity rather than planned basis, thy will be reachable to answer queries from ODs in, passing through or moving to your country. And, if possible to connect ODs with ODS. They will try to keep their records updated and pass on those updates to the ODU and when the opportunity arises, send though snippets of local information.

ODs, when the need (want) arises should feel free to get in touch with our ODU Reps whose details are provided below:

Thank you to Nicky Bicket for the work he has been doing to find ODs in Europe who would be willing to act as Country Representatives.  This content of this article was taken from the UK Newsletter.  Should you want to read it CLICK HERE.
