Recently Gareth Davies met up with Peter with whom he has much in common.  They not only share the same surname, but were both in matic in 1998 and were also both in Kidd House!

They met up in Gladstone at Auckland House. Picturesque Gladstone is a coastal city known for its industrial port and access to the Great Barrier Reef.  Peter has been in Australia for the past 18 months and lives in Biloela with his wife, Ilse, and their 2 children.

Gareth remembers that Peter was a rower at school and played prop for his rugby team.  They were together at prep school.  Gareth was in VDB and Peter was in Brook house.

They had a hearty catch-up and exchanged their life stories.  Gareth sent us these pictures and a little information about Peter's whereabouts before settling in Australia:

It was good to hear his life story. Peter used to be a dairy farmer in Plett then went off to set up hunting buffalo at a lodge in South Africa for international clients.  The hunting business belonged to another friend who he helped establish the business.  They worked together until the family sold the farms and business.  After that he branched out into property development in SA and then finally moved over to Australia.

We wish Peter every success in Australia.
