Cassiem brothers star for South Africa

Dayaan (2017W) and Mustapha Cassiem (grade 11) represented the South African men's indoor hockey team between the 10th and 16th of November, in a 6-match series against the Swiss.

Dayaan (2017W) and Mustapha Cassiem (grade 11) represented the South African men’s indoor hockey team between the 10th and 16th of November, in a 6-match series against the Swiss.

 


Dayaan captained the side in the penultimate game on the 16th, which was played in Sunningdale. Mustapha went onto to score a penalty stroke, ensuring the 4-1 win, in so doing taking the series 5-0.

South Africa played a total of 6 games, winning 5, losing 0 and shared the spoils on one occasion.
