Con Jooste - 1 November 1959 - 6 October 2026.
The ODU is very sad to announce that Con Jooste died suddenly last night.
"Con was a fantastic friend to so many and will be incredibly missed by his brother and his mother. Con was someone with many passions including fishing, spear fishing, music, friends and family, and enjoyed travelling to exotic places and Africa.
This photograph sums him up well, taken two weeks ago at Kenton on Sea with a trophy fish loving life.
He passed away in Cape Town but lived in Kenya and Dubai with time in St Petersburg.
RIP Con and thanks for the great times!"
The above sent to the ODU by a close friend of Con.
The ODU sends deepest sympathies to his Mother and Brother, Nicholas.
Further details to follow.
RIP Con!
Requiescat in Pace.
