Reunions

Left to right, standing:   Richard Eastwick, Dave Kilpin who organised the get-together, Geoff Caradoc-Davies from Somerset West and Mac Bisset, renowned military historian.   Sitting:   Eddie Sedgwick, Dave Evans, Elgin fruit farmer, Mike Groves and Alan Ramsay.

Cape Town-based Class of ’60 ODs met for a mid-year re-union at Claremont Cricket Club’s restaurant in Constantia on 5 July.   And were joined by Mike, 'Colonel' Groves, all the way from Cheshire in the UK and staying locally with Eddie Sedgwick.   Mike’s claim to fame, apart from education in White House, is being selected to play cricket for Western Province immediately after leaving Bishops and later for Oxford.

A good time was had by all.
