The Ogilvie Clock in the Founders Clocktower completed in 1905 was donated as a gift to the College by Canon George Ogilvie the 3rd Principal of Bishops.

The initial drive to have the clock repaired came from Fancois Kuttel (1986F) who was keen to have it restored to its former working order.  Francois gave extremely generously towards the restoration project, for which a plaque in the Arch acknowedges this kind act.  The House Director at the time was Mr David Mallett. Father Terry Wilke conducted a ceremony of blessing.

However, the clock could only start working once major structrual work was completed.

This has now finally been achieved, thanks to Jonathan Holtmann, Jody October, Mark Mitchell, Barry Emms and all who worked to make this possible.

The Ogilvie Clocktower, chiming on the hour!

We are etrnally grateful to all who made possible the repairs and reconstruction work.

The Ogilvie Clocktower remains one of the College's great treaures.

It is now 121 years old!

For this we can be mindful of the opeing lines of Psalm 121 - "I lift up my eyes to the mountains".
