Refreshments and samples of our edibles and medibles will be available.
OD Cannabis Society Social evening – Thursday 12th May 2022 at the OD Mitre Building, Bishops
17h30 – Arrival and welcome drinks and snacks
18h00 – Jonty Philips OD – Will introduce his Cannabis portal – Seedinconline.com and then talk about why Cannabis was made illegal in the USA through the efforts of Henry Anslinger, the Rockefellers subsequently manipulating the American Medical Association and how that shaped Big Pharma. These things are relevant as Cannabis and Hemp have the potential to totally disrupt multiple industries. We need to guard against similar monopolisation and exploitation in the South African context.
18h15 – Neil Liddell OD – Will bring us up to date with his efforts to establish a Cannabis Grow Club model in South Africa based on expert legal advice, how the government shut them down anyway and now are using a series of delaying tactics and the threat of ongoing legal action to discourage them and how despite this they keep going based on the legality of their business model and the need for people to access cannabis legally without growing it themselves.
18h30 – George Joubert OD – Will talk about the wonderful world of Cannabis medibles (THC v CBD), how to make them, take them and use them to improve a variety of conditions such as ADHD, stress, anxiety etc…
18h45 – 20h30 – OD Cannabis Society members free to mingle and sample complimentary Cannabis related products supplied by fellow members.
This function is open to all OD’s who RSVP through the OD Cannabis Society link/ Whatsapp group as listed on OD Connect portal. A contribution to the cleaning fee of R500 will be appreciated, but there is no charge to attend.
