Obakeng Leseyane (2012S) - A young OD making a difference!

Founder and Executive Director of EDConnect SA, Obakeng Leseyane (2012S) will be on a panel at an EU Summit (Belgium) in late May 2018 discussing how access to quality education can accelerate economic prosperity in ‘post-colonial’ South Africa. Obakeng will endeavor to explain the shortcomings of SA's  education system and reference a couple of young people who are actively bridging the gaps in our education system among other objectives for the summits.

The EdConnect Initiative is a youth-run nonprofit organization (NPO) that seeks to identify, empower and connect students to scholarships and top institutions in South Africa. They operate to enhance access to quality education via their EdConnect Scholars Programme (ESP) and meaningful development opportunities through their EdConnect Resource Bank (ERB).
