Dr John Wyatt, MBE (1963W) is no stranger to ODs, having presented his book Exploding the Myth covering his wide and varied career in counter-terrorism at an OD reception in 2019. This is the area of his consulting practice and towards the end of 2020 he added to his list of publications with a new manual on Emergency Procedures for High-Risk Incidents (left). It covers events involving vehicle bombs, suspect packages (explosive and chemical), shootings, personal attack (acid etc), offensive or bomb threat messages and environmental threats (storm, flood etc) and is now widely used by commercial property developers, owners and tenants. Perfect, he says for SME businesses which cannot afford the exorbitant prices of a major survey. The book, widely visible in many buildings in the UK, is available for sale to ODs. If you'd like a copy (or copies) then please email John at [email protected]
