The Bishops Museum is richer for the delivery of a strong-room in which to place some of its rare items.  The operation to transfer it from the Admin building was a Herculean task which lasted for most of Thursday morning.  We are grateful that it chose the Museum for its new home and instantly it has become a feature in the setting. Our thanks go to Jonathan and all involved in the operation.

Please see the next article for a pic of what it looks like.

We intend to run an article about its provenance sometime next semester and in the meantime anyone wishing to come and view it please contact the Curator Paul Murray at 0835159526 or email him at [email protected]
