The Greatest Rugby Era

Which epic moments on the rugby field make up our greatest rugby era?

Featured

OD Rugby Club

The past few years have seen a resurgence in Bishops rugby, with the 1st XV in scintillating and often dominant form. This year kicked off with games against Outeniqua High (W31-20), Maritzburg College (16 April) and Paul Roos (23 April).

The 1st XV have won two of their games already:

  • Maritzburg College (W31-10)
  • Parktown Boys (W26-10)

To mark the start of the season, we feature an extract from a new book from Don Nelson (1957G), 25 Great South African Rugby Schools in Issue 8 of The Old Diocesan, which answers the question: What was our greatest rugby era?
