On Thursday 10 September 53 of our Bishops Matrics were awarded their prestigious 13-year ties. These are only given to those who have attended Bishops their entire school career, from pre-prep to primary school and then to the College.

We wish you the very best for all your future adventures.

The 13-year celebration started with a group of parents a number of years ago who had a celebratory “last cheque” party after paying their final Bishops fees after 13 years. This then morphed into a celebration with their sons and a tie was designed for the boys who had been here from grade R to matric.

Since then it has now become an annual tradition of awarding of a tie to the matric class, usually in assembly but due to COVID-19, the ceremony was the Piley Rees rugby field.
