The Standing Committee (SC) has resolved to recommend to the OD Committee (ODC) as follows-

 1. All Union members shall have a vote at any general meeting, including the next AGM, and the manner(s) of exercising such vote will have to be decided upon and implemented by the ODC.
 2. That the ODC be elected annually at the Union’s Annual General Meeting.
 3. That the recommendation in 1 be decided upon by Union members present at a Special General Meeting to be held as soon as reasonably possible before the end of 2019, and in any event before the next AGM of the Union.
 4. That the recommendation in 2 be decided upon by all Union members who choose to vote at the same Special General Meeting referred to in 3, immediately after 1 is decided upon, to be held as soon as reasonably possible before the end of 2019,  and in any event before the next AGM of the Union.

It was further resolved to recommend that the draft ODC Code of Conduct be finalised, agreed by the ODC and SC, and implemented without delay and that the work of the ODC be allocated as far as practicable to separate portfolios, thus spreading workload and responsibility as evenly as possible.
