After over 10 years of service, Rosemary Wilke, currently the Marketing & Events manager, will be leaving Bishops at the end of December 2019. We will be saying farewell to Rosemary later in the year but would like thank her for her contribution to Bishops over the years and hope that her last few months will be fulfilling.

Rosemary will be going on to persue her passion in theatre which she has been involved in since she was 5 years old.

Guilbert and Sullivan report: "She has appeared in and directed many shows in Johannesburg, and since relocating to Cape Town she has enjoyed playing roles in various Society productions staged at the Masque Theatre. She has been involved, both backstage and onstage in G&S productions at ArtsCape, including being a follow spotter for 'The Wizard of Oz' - daunting for someone afraid of heights.

Last year she played ‘Dotty Otley’ starring as ‘Mrs Clackett’ in ‘Noises Off’ and she was a member of the midwife ensemble in the G&S production of ‘Ruddigore’. Earlier this year she was part of the cast of the Bishops production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and will be appearing later on this year in HHDS production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ' at The Playhouse.

Come and enjoy the fruits of Rosemary’s labour of love in IT’S SHOWTIME on Friday 25 October at the Bishops Memorial Theatre. Tickets are available from https://www.quicket.co.za/events/82350-its-showtime/#/seats
