Dear Bishops Community

I am pleased to announce that the Matric Class of 2023 achieved wonderful results.

Some of the highlights are as follows:

157 boys wrote the NSC examinations;

99.4% pass rate achieved;

98.1% Bachelors pass;

There were 524 subject distinctions (3,34 per candidate);

16.6% of all subject results were above 90%;

45.3% of all subject results were above 80%;

There were 63 A aggregates (40% of the class) and 13 boys achieved an aggregate of 90% and above;

The top student was Kaspar Holm with an aggregate of 96.0%, followed by Zuhayr Mohamood with 94.6% and Michael Ritz with 93.4%;

9 distinctions were achieved by Michael Ritz and Ilyaas van Graan;

8 distinctions were achieved by Adam Buckham, James Collins, Daniel Fletcher, Kaspar Holm, Michael Kruse and Zuhayr Mohamood;

17 boys achieved 7 distinctions, 17 achieved 6 distinctions and 12 achieved 5 distinctions;

Jamie Chester scored 100% for Dramatic Arts and Kaspar Holm scored 100% for German;

We are extremely proud of these results and congratulate every boy on his achievement. We also thank all their teachers whose guidance and motivation, over all the years, made such a big difference. Finally, our thanks to parents, family members and the Bishops community who supported our boys. You can be very proud of them!
