AT THE FIRST MEETING TO BE HELD ON 15 JANUARY 2020:
 
Resolution 1:
 
RESOLVED THAT the Constitution be and is hereby amended such that all members of the Union are entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union.
 
The effect of this resolution would be that all ODs shall be entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union regardless of whether their membership fee payments are up to date.
 
An amendment to the Constitution is adopted if 66% of the members participating at the meeting vote in favour of the resolution. 
 
Resolution 2:
 
RESOLVED THAT the Constitution be and is hereby amended such that all members of the Union are entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union whether by way of electronic communication, proxy or postal voting.
 
The effect of this resolution would be that all ODs shall be entitled to participate, speak and vote at general meetings of the Union by way of electronic communication, proxy or postal
voting, as opposed to being physically present at the meeting.
 
An amendment to the Constitution is adopted if 66% of the members participating at the meeting vote in favour of the resolution. 
 
AT THE SECOND MEETING TO BE HELD ON 12 FEBRUARY 2020:
Introduction
 
The Standing Committee made a recommendation to the Committee to the effect that the Constitution should be amended such that each year at the Annual General Meeting, the entire Committee step down, and put itself up for re-election.
 
In order to give effect to the Standing Committee's recommendation the Committee puts the recommendation to the Members for consideration.
 
Resolution:
 
RESOLVED THAT the Constitution be and is hereby amended such that each of the members of the Committee shall be elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting.
 
The effect of this resolution would be that all of the members of the OD Union Committee shall step down at each Annual General Meeting and shall be eligible for re-election.
 
An amendment to the Constitution is adopted if 66% of the members participating at the meeting vote in favour of the resolution.
