OD Cricket Club

The Oaks Club, under the Chairmanship of Bruce Risien (1965G), held their monthly get-together in the Bowls Clubhouse, at Western Province Cricket Club, on Monday 17 September 2018. The guest speaker for the evening was Vince van der Bijl (1965F). Vince spoke insightfully on the International Cricket Council (ICC), the core values of success and greatness, and his recent 3-month involvement with Zimbabwean cricket management. As an additional bonus, Vince also gave wonderful insight into ball tampering, including some fascinating footage.
