Dust ridden at the end of stage 1.

OD Committee member, Nick Durrant (1991G) recently participated in the Wines2Whales mountain bike challenge with fellow OD, Anton Potgieter (1986G).

"After a hot and dusty stage 1, we were evacuated from the race village in Oak Valley, Elgin during the night due to a big storm with high winds and a fire near by. We ended up at the Houwhoek wind and slept on the dance floor! Stage 2 is a shortened day and we finish off in Hermanus on Wednesday."
