On her recent trip to London, OD Administrator, Nicole Durand was fortunate enough to have a tour of the British Museum with one of London's finest Blue Badge Guides, David Jordan (1962W).

Blue Badge Tourist Guides train intensively for 2 years and pass the highest Tourist Guiding qualification in the UK. They are the best of the best. David has unparalleled knowledge, and being a Blue Badge means that he is permitted to guide the major sites – e.g. St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and Windsor Castle as well as almost anything (except sport, he says!) in and around London.

His way with storytelling immediately transports you out of the hustling and bustling tourist hub back to the moments where it all took place. By the end of his tour of the British Museum, you’ll come away feeling as if you'd learnt so much, not just about London, but many cities, countries and empires throughout the ages, commanded some of the greatest battles throughout history and brought back a few priceless artifacts along the way...
