Farewell to a man who left his mark

What was the secret to living such a long and eventful life? We take a closer look at Derk Critchton (1937) who passed away on 14 March in Hermanus.

We were saddened by the news of the passing of Derk Crichton last week, in Hermanus, aged 103.  Professor Crichton was born in 1919, the same year as Nat King Cole.  This was at the end of World War One and during the big pandemic commonly referred to as the Spanish Flu.  Little did he know that he would live to see more than one pandemic in his lifetime.  To read more about his exceptional life, click on THIS LINK
