David Bewsey (1964F) passes away.

Younger brother of John Bewsey, David, lived a quiet life.

David Bewsey (1964F) passed away in Edenvale on 20 April 2024.  He worked in Administration in the chemical industry.  David looked after the administration of several of his brother's companies until 2010.  John Bewsey (1957F), wrote the following:

David was my younger brother. He led a very quiet life.  He was an unofficial accounts manager to many of my businesses over the period 1968 to 1990 after which he moved to the same position in a company owned by one of my best friends, Taurus Chemicals.

His wife, Des, died about a year before his very unpleasant and slow deterioration from Steele, Robinson, Olszewski syndrome – also known as progressive, supranuclear palsy.

His death was a happy release for all of us. He has one daughter left from an earlier marriage, and several family members from his marriage to Des.

Our sincerest condolences to the family and close friends.
