The committee held its first meeting this week and considered concerns and suggestions on governance in the earliest of representations received. It plans to be able to report to the OD Union Committee by the end of this year on those and all further submissions made. Members are extended a repeat invitation to submit their views. Consideration is being given to eliciting responses by way of a questionnaire. At this stage it appears to be the generally accepted wish that voting at general meetings should be open to all members, not just those present
