At the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, London, on 1 November 2025, the All Blacks XV defeated the Barbarians 33–19 in a lively and entertaining contest that showcased rugby's flair and sportsmanship.

Leading the Barbarians was John Dobson, Stormers head coach and proud Bishops OD, who brought his trademark attacking philosophy and Cape Town flavour to one of the game's most beloved fixtures. His side, rich in South African talent, played with expression, ambition, and camaraderie, true to the Barbarian RFC spirit.

Among the forwards was Oli Kebble, now a current Stormers prop and fellow Bishops OD. Having recently returned to Cape Town after successful spells in France and Scotland, Kebble relished the opportunity to pull on the famous black-and-white hoops.

It was especially heartwarming to see him run out in Bishops socks, a proud nod to his school heritage and the shared roots he holds with Dobson.

While the All Blacks XV claimed the victory, the match stood as a celebration of rugby's global fraternity, and for Dobson and Kebble, a memorable moment of reconnecting school, province and country on one of rugby's grandest invitational stages.
