South Africa will host the world-class Indian Men's team in a three-match Test series, offering Cape Town supporters an opportunity to witness top-tier international hockey.
Fixtures:
Dayaan Cassiem has been named captain of the South African Men's Outdoor side, continuing his leadership in a year where he has firmly established himself as one of the country's premier hockey talents.
He is joined by his younger brother, Mustapha, whose attacking flair and instinctive reading of the game remain hallmarks of South Africa's forward line.
Immediately after the outdoor series, attention shifts indoors for the 2025 Nkosi Cup, running from 12–16 December at Wynberg Military Base Stadium.
This prestigious indoor competition sees South Africa host top nations in a fast-paced, high-intensity format. The South African Men's Indoor squad features a strong Bishops connection:
The success of the Cassiem brothers and Ryan Julius is woven deeply into the fabric of Bishops Hockey. Dayaan and Mustapha's father, Cassa Cassiem, is a current a Bishops 1st XI coach, working alongside Ryan Julius.
Dayaan's rare achievement of captaining both the outdoor and indoor national sides places him among the most influential South African hockey players of his generation.
The Bishops community extends its congratulations to Dayaan, Mustapha, and Ryan, and looks forward to supporting them as they carry both their country's colours with Pride.
