On Monday 01 April 2019 David Leslie (1971W) and Jeremy Lawrence (1952F) joined Dr Paul Murray (Bishops Archivist) for a cup of tea at The Mitre.
David shared exciting news of an upcoming book by OD Vice-president Peter Sauerman (1954W). It promises to be the definitive history of golf in South Africa.
David himself is keen to write an article on the links between Bishops and the Royal Cape Golf Club. Any ODs wishing to contribute in this regard, are most welcome to contact the OD offices.
Jeremy came to view the beautiful new glass panels at the entrance to the Bishops Museum. He used the opportunity to buy an OD bow tie.
He encourages ODs to purchase these classical fashionable items, and says that at R220 they are a real bargain.
