Nominations for ODC Elections 2024 close on 15 February

Please take note of the timelines for nominations and voting.

The ODU Committee (ODC) would like to encourage ODs across the world to consider serving on the ODC for the period March 2024 up to and including the AGM of 2025.

We are inviting any ODs who would like to serve on the committee to consider putting themselves forward.  Should you not wish to stand yourself, but know of an OD who you think would be a great addition to the team, you are welcome to nominate them.

Below is an outline of the current committee that explains the structure of the committee and its sub-committees.  It also includes the roles of the core committee and provides an idea of the time commitment related to being part of the committee.

To nominate yourself or anyone who you believe can make a positive contribution to the ODU, please click on the NOMINATION LINK HERE.

Please note that there is no limit to the number of nominees and that all positions on the committee are open.  Current members also have to be re-elected back into the committee.

Timelines:

  • The deadline for nominations is 15 February 2024.
  • The list of candidates will be published on the OD Union website from 22 February 2024.
  • ODs who want to vote need to REGISTER for the AGM. Registerd ODs will receive the voting link a week prior to the AGM and again on the morning of the AGM.
  • Electronic voting closes at 18:00.  In-person and proxy voting will conclude at close of  business at the AGM on 6 March 2024.
