Lieut. Jasper Paull Naish, Royal Air Force, only child of Mrs. O. Naish presently of Durban, was killed in action in France on 25th July, 1918.
Lieut. Jasper Paull Naish, Royal Air Force, only child of Mrs. O. Naish presently of Durban, was killed in action in France on 25th July, 1918. Three weeks before – on 4th July – he was wounded in the lip during an air fight and was sent to hospital in France. It was not until 26th July – the day after he was actually killed – that his mother in Durban received a reassuring wire from him...
