Mike Bromfield (past staff) and his wife were seen at Howard Centre earlier this week. Mike is holding a book by David Thomas called “The men who would not march”. We were looking for information on Lieut. C. J. Darter (OD) who was killed during the South African War (1899-1902) in the Namaqualand area.
