Founders House Pride as Ross Vintcent (Italy) and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu (South Africa) star on the International Stage.

From the green fields of Bishops Diocesan College to the grand arenas of international rugby, two Founders House Old Diocesans from 2020 made Bishops proud this past weekend. Ross Vintcent and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu each played key roles in memorable victories for their respective nations, with both embodying the character, determination, and rugby pedigree for which Bishops is renowned.

Both Ross and Sacha share more than a Bishops education, they share a Founders House heritage, one that continues to produce players of quality and integrity. From their early days on the Piley Rees field to their current positions on rugby's world stage, their achievements reflect the enduring strength of Bishops rugby and the mentorship that shapes its players.

Ross Vintcent Helps Italy Down the Wallabies

In Udine, Italy made history with a 26–19 victory over Australia at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday, 8 November 2025. The result marked only the second time Italy have beaten the Wallabies, and Old Diocesan Ross Vintcent (2020F) played an influential role in the triumph.

Now a loose forward for the Exeter Chiefs, Ross delivered a commanding performance in the number six jersey. His relentless tackling, composure under pressure, and sharp work at the breakdown helped the Azzurri seize control in the second half and close out a famous win. It was a performance that underlined his growing reputation in European rugby and brought immense pride to the Bishops community.

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu Stars for the Springboks

In Paris, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu (2020F) produced a standout display as South Africa defeated France 32–17 in a fiercely contested test. The Springbok playmaker scored 17 points, a try, two conversions, and two penalties, earning Man of the Match honours and further cementing his place as one of the brightest young talents in world rugby.

His confidence, creativity, and game management were instrumental in guiding the Springboks to victory. For those who watched Sacha's rise through the Bishops system and the Founders ranks, his success on the international stage is a proud affirmation of his hard work and leadership.

To have two Founders House ODs, both from the same Bishops year group, starring for their countries in major test victories is a rare and remarkable achievement. Their performances speak volumes of their individual commitment and reflect the shared foundation of excellence, humility, and sportsmanship instilled at Bishops.

Special Congratulations to Siya Kolisi

The Old Diocesan Union also proudly congratulates Siya Kolisi on reaching his 100th Test for the Springboks in the same fixture against France. Siya, an Old Grey from Grey High School in Gqeberha, is also a Bishops parent, with his son Nicholas currently attending Bishops Prep. His century of caps marks not only a milestone for South African rugby but also a moment of pride for the wider rugby community that shares in his values of humility, leadership, and resilience.
