Geoff Burton 1949-54, Gray House, and Tony Dallas 1968-77, Ogilvie House visited the Museum yesterday Tuesday 2 December 2019.

 This is the photograph (below) of Geoff Burton and Tony Dallas in conversation with each other, at the Museum at Bishops.



In the photo (below) is Tony Dallas son of David, placing the Jameson Cup that his Grandfather IED Dallas won in 1915.  Ian Edward David Dallas was at Bishops from 1908-15.  He was an all-rounder excelling at sport and academics.  IED's son David was at Bishops from 1942-51 and currently lives in Australia.  David sent the Bishops memorabilia over with his son Tony who brought it to Bishops yesterday.  David kindly donated the Cup as well as other precious Bishops archival material, of his father and also of the Reverend Leslie Irving aka 'Agape'.  As Tony arrived at the Museum so did Geoff Burton, and the families are well-known to each other.  There was a lot of reminiscencing after with Paul Murray the school archivist took them on a tour of the Museum.
